Stories of brokenness and healing as told firsthand by one of the world's funniest communicators. Each chapter challenges the reader to identify, allow and determine. This 3 step sequence reaches far beyond its simplistic sound and brings true, lasting healing and growth. Much more than the average Self-Help books in that the approach demands to reach beyond self. Much more than a spiritual guidance book in that the actions suggested require more than just saying a prayer that things will get better. Award winning comedian and conference speaker, Elijah Tindall nails each story with his unique brand of delivery. This book will have you laughing, crying and making changes. The goal was to provide a tool for people to utilize immediately upon reading each chapter. Meaty enough for a scholar yet delivered in a package that translates to everyone else. This is a must read for all. Scars will have you sharing your story in no time at all.

I had to stop reading once I received messages from multiple people who alerted me to some horrifying experiences they had at the hands of this man over the years, from the time he was a youth "pastor" until very recently while he was traveling on the road as a speaker. Their corroborated stories made me physically sick and they all revealed the same truth: there is something very different going on than what is performed on the stage or preached from behind the pulpit all of these years.Product details

LOVE this book - LOVE the story - LOVE the comedian! Elijah is so real!!
I've had the most awesome pleasure of listening to Elijah speak several times..so of course I had to get the book! He has such a way of getting the message out in a funny, real way that any age can relate to.
Get ready for a fun inspiring read. Elijah will change your life through the stories of his life.
"Wise man once said" - A silly phrase to introduce cute platitudes of wisdom. You will indeed find wisdom in this book, but you will not find cute, trite clichés to warm your heart. Elijah has been through some fire, some intense struggle, and by the grace of God he's become stronger through it. His clever humor and transparent humility will have you cringing, laughing, cheering, and maybe weeping! Thank you, Elijah. This is a gift for all of us that experience life's struggles.
I knew some of Elijah's story before reading this book, but not nearly as much as I thought I did. Elijah has endured much in his lifetime and he has done it with a sense of purpose and total trust in God. I love the way he has used his story to give us some tools to handle our own hardships. This is a quick read... richly filled with wisdom and humor.
I've had the good fortune of hearing Elijah (ET fresh) speak probably hundreds of times. And I've always admired his ability to open someone's heart to his message by humor, then make a hard turn to the Profound by making a point that cuts straight to the issue and need for healing. He has absolutely achieved that in this book. Thanks Elijah for sharing your scars with us, making us laugh, cry and heal. You've used them well. Great read.
Just finished reading his book and I loved it. I had the pleasure of hearing him at the church in Athens Texas. Pastor Mark is my pastor. That weekend Elijah talked about the seasons of your life. It was an awesome message. I know people may look at him and be quick to judge, however I am here to tell that this 59 year old Nana who is raising her eight year old grandson loves to him hear speak. I have listened to the message from that weekend several times. It was sometime later that Pastor Mark shared the story about the Harley. I love to be able to talk to him one on one. He is wise beyond his years and can and has reached so many
